Well, this will be a short update. I did exactly zero fiction-writing this week, and only three book reviews. I’m not very happy with my current WIP—stalled out—and I feel like pushing through is just creating words without quality. Hopefully, I’ll feel up to writing next week. On the positive side, I have been re-reading a draft that I really want to polish and send out into the world before the end of the year.

Sundays are for Writing #70
I had four fiction-writing sessions planned this week, but I only did three.
However…I wrote eleven book reviews this week, too. I finished reading all the books I’m reviewing in May during April…and all the reviews are written, too. And my sister-in-law went into labor and I have a new nephew, so I’m fine with that level of productivity!
Sundays are for Writing #69
I hope everyone had a good week! I had four fiction-writing sessions planned this week, but I only did three. Trying to give myself a break this week and not feel guilty over things like this…and not working out at all this week.
I did write seven book reviews this week, though!
Sundays are for Writing #68
This week was a better writing week, although I still didn’t quite get all of my planned writing sessions in. I had five planned fiction sessions, but got in four. I also wrote and scheduled five book reviews in three days, so I’ll take that.
I hope everyone had a safe and happy week! Getting any writing in?
Sundays are for Writing #67
This was not a good writing week, but…considering, I’m not beating myself up over it. It is what it is, and I’m not going to put unnecessary pressure on myself when I’m really not in the mental space to write.
So, five planned sessions, but only two actual fiction-writing sessions. Five book review written, too.
Happy Easter!
Sundays are for Writing #66
I got in all five fiction-writing sessions this week. And wrote five book reviews plus two other blog posts. It’s been a productive week…Week three working from home.
How’s everyone else holding up? Doing any writing?
Sundays are for Writing #65
This week’s writing didn’t go exactly as I planned. I got in three of my planned five sessions, but Thursday and Friday didn’t happen due to last-minute work issues. Oh well, better luck next week.
Happy writing! I hope everyone’s finding some relief from the craziness!
Sundays are for Writing #64
Despite the chaos of the world in general this week, I managed to get in five writing sessions this week. (There is a plus side to working from home.) I also wrote a couple of book reviews this week, with many more in the pipeline.
Stay safe out there, everyone!
Sundays are for Writing #63
This was a decent writing week. Only three fiction-writing sessions, but that’s all I had planned, so it’s a win. My family flew in (secretly) for my brother’s wedding, so there was a lot going on. (Brother thought they were going to the JP, but my dad is a chaplain, so he performed the ceremony. Brother didn’t think they’d be able to come, as it was a last-minute thing.)
Sundays are for Writing #62
I got in three out of four planned writing sessions this week. I got some upsetting news at work this week and I didn’t sleep well all week (Hello, 3 a.m….), so by Friday, I was too exhausted to think straight.
