I spent a lot of time this week just laying around, recovering from surgery, so I got a lot of reading done. I also wrote five book reviews. I’m thrilled that all the pathology results were negative, so now I just have to focus on healing.

This has been a great week! I wrote six book reviews. I had surgery on Tuesday to remove a melanoma, and they ended up having to take twice as much tissue as expected, but I’ve had very minimal pain. And I found out Friday night that they got all the cancer removed and the lymph node they removed shows no sign of cancer!
God is good.

I only got two book reviews written this week, but…well, there’s a lot going on. I have surgery on Tuesday, and my mental space was a bit flighty this week, due to lack of sleep. Hopefully next week will be better.

This was a tough week: I had a consult with a surgeon to find out about an upcoming surgery, which is scheduled for February 1st, and my best friend’s father passed away. She and I have known each other since we were seven years old, so I’ve known that man most of my life.
Despite my lack of focus, I got four book reviews written.

This was a solid writing week. I wrote four book reviews.
This was also a sad week: Cian, my adult cat that I’d had for 15-16 years, passed away Friday. Losing Salem (my other elderly cat) less than four months ago and now Cian has been tough. The two kittens I rescued, Poe and Puck, cannot replace my boys. Though they’re trying. As I write this, Poe is perched on my shoulder, and Puck wants in my lap.
