Sundays Are for Writing #219

This has been a great writing week! I wrote four book reviews: Five Fortunes, by Barbara Venkataraman, Once We Were Home, by Jennifer Rosner, Zora Books Her Happy Ever After, by Taj McCoy, and Oxford Star, by Laura Bradbury. I also wrote my March reading post, and my top three books I read in March. I also wrote a post over on A Little Bit Greener. I’m very happy with writing this week!

This was a good writing week! I wrote four book reviews: Hotel of Secrets, by Diana Biller, Yours Truly, the Duke, by Amelia Grey, Please, Sorry, Thanks, by Mark Batterson, and When You Wish Upon a Star, by Elizabeth Lim (forthcoming on April 4th). I did a little bit of work over on my other blog, A Little Bit Greener, and I should have a related post up later today there. Also still toying with a fiction idea. I’m very pleased with this week’s writing.

Sundays Are for Writing #217

This was a pretty good writing week…even considering how absolutely chaotic work was! I wrote two book reviews, A Novel Proposal, by Denise Hunter, and You Wouldn’t Dare, by Samantha Markum. I also wrote two posts on A Little Bit Greener: Got a minute? and When I’m the one who needs a little green. I’m still finding my way over there with what I want to write about, but actually doing the writing is great. And I actually find myself paying more attention to the small things now, too, when my muse is actively looking for things to write about. There’s a fiction idea sprouting in my mind, too.

Happy writing!

This week, I only wrote one book review, Whistleblower, by Kate Marchant. I also wrote three other posts over on A Little Bit Greener, which makes me very happy. It’s not much writing—but it’s way more than I had been doing.

Happy writing!

This week, I wrote three book reviews: The Weight of Air, by Kimberly Duffy, Off the Map, by Trish Doller, and The Lost English Girl, by Julia Kelly (will be live on Tuesday).

I also started another writing project here, so that’s a step in the right direction.

What have you been writing?

Sundays Are for Writing #214

This week, I only wrote one book review–When the Moon Turns Blue, by Pamela Terry–but I worked three days, then went out of town for two days, so I’m good with that. About to start a new writing regimen, so I’m excited about that.

This week, I wrote two book reviews—Son of the Poison Rose, by Jonathan Maberry and Wildblood, by Lauren Blackwood. I also wrote my January reading post, and the best books I read in January. Texas was hit with an ice storm on Monday, so I went to stay with a friend Monday around noon until Friday, so I’d be closer to work (20 minutes as opposed to 60). I work in healthcare, so staying home wasn’t an option. I’m glad it’s warmed up and melted!

Sundays Are for Writing #210

This week, I wrote two book reviews: One Duke Down, by Anna Bennett and Against the Currant, by Olivia Matthews. I’m fine with that–and hoping to improve in the future. My schedule is changing again this next week, from five days a week to four, so I’m hoping I get more rest…AND time/energy to write.

Happy writing!

Sundays Are for Writing #209

This week, I only got one book review written, A Guide to Being Just Friends, by Sophie Sullivan. I’m actually fine with that, as I worked almost 50 hours…and there was a LOT of stress at work. I’m also mentally playing with an idea for a writing project, so that’s exciting.

Happy writing!

Sundays Are for Writing #207

This was a pretty good writing week to start off the new year! I wrote my December reading post, the best books I read in December, my 2022 reading post, and I reviewed Sam, by Allegra Goodman. I hope the good writing vibes continue.

Happy writing!
